An Evening of Romance will feature musician Jake Brooks opening for Amanda Huotari’s “The Soiree”.

THE SOIREE
The Soiree features Elizabeth, a charming and witty hostess who is pretentious yet contagiously optimistic. A bon vivant, she never lets a glass get empty. However, tonight is full of surprises and by pouring herself “just a splash” at a time, Elizabeth spills it all.  See why the the Portland Press Herald raved, ““Huotari is a powerhouse of improv. The laughter rarely ceased!”

Blending physical comedy, stand-up and audience interaction, The Soiree is written and performed by Amanda Huotari and directed by Avner Eisenberg (Broadway’s Avner the Eccentric). The show debuted in 2007 with the support from the Maine Arts Commission.  It’s been presented at the Cassandra Project in Portland, New York Clown Theatre Festival in Brooklyn, and Orlando Fringe Festival in Florida.
