Dark Follies presents “The Spirits of Vaudeville.” Portland’s favorite vaudevillians take to the stage to present you with a Halloween inspired variety show full of tricks and treats.  With dancing witches, juggling spooks and sneaky black cats you giggle and you’ll scream (with delight)!    An evening full of performances by Kait-ma, The Lovely Janice, Maxwell, Cait Capaldi, Moira, Lady Selcouth, the Mighty Scavenger, the Dark Follies Rhythm Orchestra and more!

Dark Follies has brought its award winning vaudeville style variety show to the streets of Portland, Maine during summer First Friday Art Walks since 2008. Featuring live music, comedy, dancing, juggling, side show acts, and more they have entertained crowds of all ages on many a summer night.

In 2011 Dark Follies won the Portland Phoenix Best of Portland Award for best street/ performance artist and also debuted their first stage show, “Vaudeville Never Died: It Was Just Resting Its Eyes”, at Lucid Stage.  Now entering its fourth year, Dark Follies continues to bring together the best of street theater and vaudeville to entertain and delight crowds around New England in the streets and on the stage.
